Fine Art Black & White Photography

Valerie Yaklin-Brown was born and raised in Riviera, TX.  After marrying and starting a family, Valerie enrolled at Lamar University in Beaumont, TX where she studied photography under Keith Carter.  Valerie received a Masters of Art, emphasis in Photography in 1997.  She currently teaches photography at Lone Star College-Montgomery.

Valerie lives on a former emu farm in Magnolia, Texas with her husband and four children.
